My little football

Tydon was a football player this year so I thought it would be fun to have Henson be a little football. I found a costume, but it was $60 so I decided to make it instead. (Saved me $50!!)

From Baby Brother

I put together a back pack from baby brother for Tydon...
Here are a couple things I made to go inside.

Custom Wipe Case

I am LOVING my new diaper bag.
It's a Timi and Leslie
Only thing it was missing was the matching wipe case ;)

New Peas and Potatoes

Fill a large pot about half full of water and bring to a boil.
Add some Salt to the water (2-3 Tablespoons)
Cut up 4-5 Red Potatoes (leaving the skins on)
Cut up 3-4 Carrots
Boil until almost soft.

Add 1 C of Peas (or more)
Leave remaining water in the pot

In a separate sauce pan, over Medium heat
Melt 1 Cube Butter
1/2 C Flour
2 C Milk
Boil until it thickens

Add Sauce to Potatoes, stir and serve.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 C Butter/Shortening
1 C Sugar
1 C Canned Pumpkin
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
2 C Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp All Spice
1 C Mini Chocolate Chips
1 tsp Baking Powder

Cream Shortening/Butter and Sugar. Add Pumpkin, Vanilla, and Egg. Beat well. Sift Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder and Spices. Blend well. Stir in Chocolate Chips.

Place round tablespoons of dough on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
